SAGUIARAN, Lanao del Sur — Provincial ENRE Officer of Lanao del Sur Asmarie M. Labao delivered a vital discourse regarding the importance of the ‘Global Response Thru Environmental Education for the Nature’ (GREEN) during the launching beşiktaş escort of Project GREEN by the Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education (MBHTE) Division of Schools in Lanao del Sur I last 23 May 2022.

PENREO Labao commended the environmental awareness campaign of the MBHTE in the BARMM, particularly under the leadership of OIC, Superintendent of Schools, Sahanee Macarampat Sumagayan, Ph.D. through the initiative of Mr. Farhan Macapandi, the proponent of the Project GREEN.

“Teachers are in the best position to train and mold the character of entire generations of mankind towards responding proactively to the threat of global warming and environmental catastrophes,” Labao shared.

PENRO Labao discussed major causes that lead to the alarming trend in environmental degradation in the BARMM, specifically in Lanao del Sur, his Area of Responsibility. He also described existing environmental solutions, actions, and options for agencies and stakeholders to collaborate on.

“The aim is to achieve a paradigm shift from all ineffectual stategies so far and to hit a comprehensive, integrated and unified lifestyle approach,” Labao added.

Through the MENRE and its Provincial Office in Lanao del Sur, Labao expressed his deep appreciation and readiness to partner with the MBHTE and to lend full support to the Project GREEN.
