Now that the Philippine Environment Month 2022 has reached midway, the Provincial ENRE Office of Lanao held a series of environmental events in three municipalities in the province: Adopt-an-Estero program and cleanup drive in şişli escort Buadipuso-Buntong and a series of information campaign still in the same municipality, and in the municipalities of Maguing and Piagapo.

In Buadipuso-Buntong, the PENRE Office, through the Community ENRE Office in the 1st District, led the Adopt-an-Estero program, which aims to restore the cleanliness of the river flowing from Brgy. Together with their stakeholder partner, the CENREO targets to begin a massive cleanup of the concerned estero and urge the communities to participate in sustaining its cleanliness. In addition to the program, the environment office also led a cleanup drive activity in selected areas in the municipality, which was participated by the residents, representatives from the Local Government Unit, BPAT, PNP, municipal schools, and the Philippine Islamic Women Association.

Moving to Piagapo, the CENREO led another awareness campaign on the classification and creation of Green Schools, attended by the LGU and school representatives from the elementary, secondary and primary academic institutions. From Buadipuso-Buntong, Piagapo, to Maguing, a collective information drive on existing environmental laws such as the Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act, Clean Water Act, Solid Waste Management Act, Philippine Mining Act, and others were delivered to various stakeholders in the local communities.
