COTABATO CITY — Moving towards a more efficient delivery of government services, the BARMM Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources, and Energy (MENRE) has launched the Environment Management Services’ (EMS) E-Permitting şirinevler escort System on Monday, September 11, at Pagana Kutawato, Cotabato City.

This digital platform is set to transform the landscape of environmental permitting, simplifying the issuance of permits, clearances, and certificates for various environmental projects.

During the launch, MENRE Minister Akmad A. Brahim expressed the Ministry’s unwavering pursuit of a healthier environment. MENRE is taking a crucial step toward realizing this vision for a better Bangsamoro by implementing more advanced and streamlined processes, such as the E-Permitting System.

With the E-Permitting System, project proponents can now submit their applications online from the comfort of their homes or offices, allowing for a more efficient and convenient process. Clients and stakeholders can upload their requirements, monitor their permit application status, and receive SMS updates through QR codes on every certificate and permit application. The QR codes allow for quick verification of permit authenticity, ensuring all permits are valid and authorized.

EMS Director Jalani M. Pamlian articulated the significance of this milestone in his opening remarks, stating, “Through this e-permitting system, we can not only save the environment by switching into a paperless system, but we can also make the issuance and application of environment-related permits, clearances, and certificates more efficient.”

Meanwhile, AFS Director Al-Sharif M. Tamburani commended this innovative achievement of EMS.

“These things that we have developed, we have progressed, and innovated inoculated systems for almost 29 years in the former and the BARMM government … we hope that we can move forward and bring all the services of the Ministry right to the very doorstep of the Bangsamoro,” he added.

The E-Permitting System covers various permits, including Air Pollution Source Installation, Chemical Control Order, Certificate of Non-Coverage, Environmental Compliance Certificate, EIA Registered Consultant, Hazardous Waste Registration, Pollution Control Officer Accreditation, Local Transport Hazardous Waste, TSD Registration Certificate, and Wastewater Discharge Permit.

Through this innovative initiative like the E-Permitting System, MENRE envisions creating a greener, sustainable, and eco-friendly future for the Bangsamoro.
