Five (5) Philippine Hanging Parrots (Loriculus philippensis) were rescued by the Provincial Environment, Natural Resources, and Energy Office (PENREO) of Tawi-Tawi District I during the rescue and release operation of its Biodiversity, Ecosystems, Research and Development Services (BERDS) unit in collaboration with the 1st SOU Maritime Police on March 20 in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.
