COTABATO CITY — Upon submission of documentary requirements by the Cotabato Shell Service Station to the Energy Management and Development Services (EMDS) of the MENRE, the EMDS inspected the establishment on 8 October 2021 as the final requirement for the issuance of Certificate of Compliance for Retail of Liquid Fuels to the gas station.

The EMDS assessed the conformity of the CoC applicant with the minimum standards set by the Department of Energy as adopted by MENRE through Memorandum Circular No. 02 series of 2021.

The EMDS evaluated the submitted documents in collaboration with the Department of Energy – Mindanao Field Office (DOE-MFO).

Submitted and inspected documents were the following:

– Valid Permits issued by the LGU, BFP, BIR, ECC, etc.

– Appropriate Measurements of Dispensing Pumps Calibration Records

– Price Display Board

– Safety Signages & Equipment

– Minimum Infrastructure Requirements

– Quality of Fuel (Ensure No water Content)

– Volume Calibration

The CoC shall be issued to Cotabato Shell Service Station after the EMDS successfully reviews and approves the requirements and inspection report.

Engr. Al-Montazer Mandong, Engr. Aljeraisy Dimaren, Engr. Yusof Ali and Prince Sanday represented the MENRE-EMDS during the site inspection and evaluation.
