Welcome to the MENRE E-Permitting System!
The Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources, and Energy’s (MENRE) Environment Management Services (EMS) is committed to improving the efficiency of issuing environment-related permits, clearances, and certificates. With this goal in mind, project proponents who need to apply for permits and clearances issued by EMS will soon have the option to submit their application online with the soon-to-be-launched E-Permitting System, a digital platform for obtaining necessary permits, clearances, and certificates.
The E-Permitting System offers a convenient and streamlined approach for project proponents to apply for various certificates and permits. This platform is accessible online, allowing individuals to submit their applications from the comfort of their home or office. The system covers various permits, such as the following:
- Air Pollution Source Installation (PTO)
- Chemical Control Order (CCO)
- Certificate of Non-Coverage (CNC)
- Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC)
- EIA Registered Consultant
- Hazardous Waste Registration (HWIC)
- Pollution Control Officer Accreditation (PCO)
- Local Transport Hazardous Waste
- TSD Registration Certificate
- Wastewater Discharge Permit (WDP)
One of the significant advantages of the E-Permitting System is the use of QR codes on every certificate and permit application. This innovative feature guarantees the system’s security and enables the easy monitoring of applications. The QR codes allow for quick verification of permit authenticity, ensuring all permits are valid and authorized.
The MENRE-EMS is committed to creating a better and more efficient process for all stakeholders involved, and the E-Permitting System is a significant step towards achieving this goal. With this system in place, project proponents can now obtain the necessary approvals over a shorter period.
