COTABATO CITY (August 19, 2019) – BARMM-MENRE conducted a visioning workshop to facilitate the enhancement and reassessment of the environmental agency’s plans and preparations for the upcoming region-wide transition to the Ministries’ respective new organizational structures.
Part of the program highlighted the reviewing and re-tooling of MENRE’s vision, mission and mandates tailored-fit to the 12-point priority agenda of BARMM and to the seven Budget Goals for the forthcoming year.
“BARMM-MENRE focuses on its transition and its realigning of mandates to the new priority agenda of the Bangsamoro,” MENRE Minister Abdulraof A. Macacua said in his message.
“The Ministry has been performing well and our goal is to sustain the execution of our mandates in service to the region,” he added.
Also present is Assistant Regional Director at DENR Region 12, Datu Tungko M. Saikol, who has been detailed to BARMM-MENRE to provide supplementary assistance to Minister Macacua especially on the process of the Ministry’s transition period.
BARMM-MENRE started the 2019 Visioning Workshop Cum Transition Updates today, August 19, at the Kalikasan Hall of the Ministry.
